To send a notification go to the KlubApp (what is the difference between a Basic notification and a 2-Way notification?
If you have not already downloaded the KlubApp click here
Log in using the email address and password for your club administrator account.
When you log in you will be defaulted to the dashboard.
At the top left of your screen you will see 3 lines, click here.
Next you will need to click on the 'Administration' menu.
To create a 2-Way Notification click on 'Create 2-Way Notification'
You will be asking to enter a 'Notification Heading' and a 'Notification Description'. These are both free text fields.
Below the notification 'heading' and 'description' you will see 'Expire after' - this setting will be defaulted to 1 day. You can change this value by clicking on the arrow provided. A range of 1-7 days can be selected.
2-Way Notifications are different from Basic notifications as they require a response.
The club can create their own 'responses', i.e. 'Yes', 'No' and 'Maybe'
Simply type your required response and click 'Add'
Similar to basic notifications you will see two tabs 'Send by role' and 'Send by category'
You will also notice that if you click on the 'Send by category' tab there is a drop down arrow that is defaulted to 'General' however you can change this to 'Volunteer'. More details will follow on the 'Volunteer' tool.
Clubs can choose to send their message to a role, a category or a combination of roles and categories.
Simply select your audience by selecting the relevant check boxes and then click on 'Send Notification'
2-Way notifications which have been sent will appear in the 'View and Manage' section shown under 2-Way Notifications.
The notification will display the date and time the notification was sent and who it was sent to. You will also see a 'View responses' link and if you click here you will see who has responded to your notification.
Sending a notification via the website
Notifications can also be sent via the Klubfunder website www.klubfunder.com
Go to www.klubfunder.com
Click on the 'Log in' button at the top right of your screen.
Login using the email address and password for your club administrator account.
Once you have logged in click on 'Club Mobile Notifications'
Once you have clicked on 'Club Mobile Notifications' you will see 3 Tabs at the top of your page and by default you will be positioned at the 'Basic Notifications' Tab
To create a 2-Way Notification click on the tab 2-Way Notifications
Then click on the 'Create 2-way notification' button
Similar to a basic notification you will be asked to complete a 'Heading' and a 'Message'
